This week's Thirst Quencher is a tart-sweet treat: Raspberry Limeade. Whether you've had your 4th of July celebration already, or whether you're waiting for the weekend this is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients:

Pint of Raspberries
4 cups of water
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (about 8-10 limes)
In a blender puree 1 cup of the raspberries with 1 cup of the water. Once blended together force puree through a fine mesh sieve, over a pitcher, using the back of a spoon (press hard).
Add the remaining water, lime juice and sugar to the pitcher. Make sure sugar is dissolved.
For serving you can add ice cubes to glasses, remaining raspberries (mint would be nice too!). Next time I will try this by adding a splash of seltzer to each glass. I think the fizz would be a nice touch.
